So. NaNoWriMo. It's fucking coming.

Is anyone else planning on doing it? Because, barring unforeseen and tragic circumstances, I will be. I'm going to actually write in English this year and I'm shitting myself because I don't know if I can make 2000-ish~ words a day in a language I don't really get. What am I thinking? I think I just like ( Read more... )

I will totally coax you! I need to drag everyone I possibly can along with me, because this is not only going to be fun and amazing and crazy, but things are just easier when you're doing them with a group of encouraging people c:

English is my second language, actually. Italian is my first and, honestly, what I prefer. I feel like I have a better vocabulary and whatnot. And words just come faster, IDEK. But I'd really like to be able to write something that a lot of people can read this year and translating 50,000 + words just takes too long (or I'm just lazy ahaha).

Oooh. Well, maybe you could do a series of fairy tales? Even if you don't make 50,000, I think if you've written anything that you like, you've totally won!

And, oh oh oh, typewriters are such lovely things. I've been wanting one for an age. I know that the word processor Atlantis makes typewriter noises when you type, so that might be a not-so-perfect stand in. I'm sure it's on rapidshare somewhere.

Write Something You Miserable Fuck is kinda more my style, but I've been thinking about doing NaNo. It depends on when I get a job and how shitty it is. And if I can come up with an outline in two weeks. Hmm.

Regardless, I will totally cheerlead you.

Ahahahaha. Actually that looks amazing, too. I'm doing NaNo I need a serious boot in the ass to get over writer's block, so I'm thinking that this might be the only way. It'll be like the writer's version of the Ludovico Technique, violent, sudden, total immersion.

But I would love to participate alongside of you, no matter what you end up doing c:

And I can always use a cheering section, especially one with someone as awesome as you in it ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
