So. NaNoWriMo. It's fucking coming.

Is anyone else planning on doing it? Because, barring unforeseen and tragic circumstances, I will be. I'm going to actually write in English this year and I'm shitting myself because I don't know if I can make 2000-ish~ words a day in a language I don't really get. What am I thinking? I'm doing it for the first time in a while, because for the first time since I discovered it, I will not actually be in school during November and so I might stand a chance. So we can hold hands and cry and all that shit.

As for the language issue, I selfishly am glad it'll be in English because that means I might get to read it -- also, I would like to inform you that your grasp of this language you claim not to get is far, far greater than that of many who have spoken it and only it all their lives. Your vocabulary, especially your endlessly beautiful and creative bastardization/deconstruction/reconstruction of it, is just stunning and it never ceases to make me jealous. So I have full confidence in your ability to kick November's ass. Consider this a preemptive strike in cheerleading. *\o/*

YES! I am so excited to know you're going to be on board that it (almost) makes me wish it were November right now! We can send each other encouragement texts or (because fuck knows I need them) drill sargent texts.

SO EXCITED!!!!!!! Yes let's do the texting thing. I am probably going to be in NYC come November 1, which'll be insane, maybe we can have a write-in??

This is going to be my first year trying NaNo, and I'm terrified! I plan to make use of Write Or Die a lot, though. It's insane.
I'm going to write a gay steampunk adventure. Hopefully. <3

Oh good god, Write or Die. I have this love-hate relationship with Write or Die. Sometimes it really helps, though. And sometimes it just makes me want to throw things up against a wall.

I'm writing (as my current outline stands, totally subject to caprice and fits of rage,) something partially based on giallo films and probably, as always, full of sex, death, and weird shit.
