I was offered the promotion to Chef de Partie.

I took it.  Fuck yes.

Basically, I'm below the Chef and Sous and I get dealt a lot of responsibility having to do with everyday operations in the kitchen.  I am above all the cooks and on par with the ops manager of the front of house.
