I have to wait till I can afford to buy some DF plywood, but I did find some dense partical board in which I decided to make a template for the horizontal stabilizer ribs. I layed out one and cut it out and drilled it. It came out decent enough but I was not pleased with a certain flat spot near the square cutout for the spar. And I was not that ( Read more... )

I got the rudder ribs cut out today, I tried the first one with the router and a straight bit, I can not see how you can free hand with it, it seems to grab the wood and pull it depending on the grain ( Read more... )
