I'm listening to The Weakerthans and thinking about Drew Sanborn, wondering where my sister is right now, hoping that there was a way to make everyone in the world always be okay.

I suspect something bad may have happened, but I'm a little scared to even ask.

I want to cut my hair and move back to Brooklyn. I want an apartment with a bathroom. I want a fire escape and a cat and I want it all now. Should I go to Savannah? I've been working on strengthening my quads and listening to a lot of Sufjan again since a conversation I had with a guy who picked me up when I was hitchhiking down a mountain the other day. 

I applied for a few jobs and now people want to talk to me and I just feel so nervous. I remember telling myself to take ten deep breaths ten years ago when I was wearing that silly white button-up blouse while sitting in my car in the parking lot across the street from The Mediterranean Plus.
