My younger brother, whose music tastes are perhaps even more eclectic than mine, is on a big France Gall kick right now. You can find many videos of her on YouTube. She had a lovely voice.

Is he more partial to early France Gall (Gainsbourg-era), or later (Michel Berger), or both, perhaps?

I did listen to her version of Nous ne sommes... when I was researching the lyrics, and she does indeed have a lovely voice.

He's really into Serge Gainsbourg himself, which is probably what led him to France Gall, but I think he likes both the earlier and later stuff.
