Quick stupid comment. Last month I was reading about new work done in tracking down the cause of deja vous. They determined that it might occur when you see something in your peripheral vision and then look directly at it a moment later. I had deja vu at work yesterday. I remember thinking that the reason why it was deja vu was because of the exact positions of things in my periphery. it wasn't the people, it wasn't what I was doing, it was the position from which I looked at my book. i was standing and reading and half way through looking up, experienced the deja vu. Very interesting!

Hah, the fact that students ALWAYS sit in the exact same seats is enough to give anyone deja vous.

Ages ago, I read that it was the eyes blinking at slightly different speeds and one eye sending the message to the brain shortly (ever-so-shortly)before the other.

I, however, am psychic, so the above explanation doesn't apply to me!
