I'm glad that I'm not the only one who swears they were taught to spell it "grey." When did it change? In the last year I've just wondered if it was part of my Kiwi language confusion (traveling, realise, etc). If there was some kind of spelling conspiracy, we are at least united in our rebellion.
As for the grey hair, I think it's awesome! Is is just a streak above your forehead? Bonnie Raitt has had one of those for decades. One of the perks about being a red-head, I think. It's probably white anyway, which is even cooler. Embrace it, that's what I say. =)
Funny, I too am suddenly aging. I have two forhead wrinkles that won't retreat no matter how much anti-aging moisturizer I use!! How ironic that such things occur after the stress dissappears... grad school anyone?

Grey is the original spelling of the word. Americans decided to change it, as they did words like travelling, organise (but not surprise) and colour. It's "American English".
Class is dismissed. Teacher wants to get pissed. (That means drunk, not angry, for you Yanks out there.)
