Last night's Supernatural, a transcription of a short scene which made me smile.

Dean goes into the lobby of a hotel; a thirteen-year-old boy comes up behind the desk. We later learn his name is Michael.

Dean: Room for two please.

Michael, flatly: King or two queens?

I just saw an absolutely brilliant film: L.I.E. The jacket description makes it seem like the usual sordid coming of age film but it's not. It's beautifully filmed, incredibly acted, with a great score and just the right combination of angst, irony and poetry (plus pretty boys).

So my mates and I went to the theatre last night to see the 12:30 am showing of Pirates of the Caribbean 2.  We waited in line for two hours, smiling at all the pretty children dressed as pirates -- or gypsies or some strange combination of the two -- and were eventually sent into the theatre. Anyone watch tonight's episode of "House"? It included a cameo appearance by Tom Lenk, AKA Andrew! He played a patient who suffered from excessive diarrhea because of his nicotine gum. Hee hee!

My cat has a sudden and inexplicable blanket phobia. She avoids my bed like the plague. If I bring her anywhere near that part of the room she tears my arms to pieces and goes running out the door.  My other cat is fine. I can detect no evil presence lurking beneath my matress. So what's the problem?
