It's been a while *sigh*

Just finished this a few hours ago because I couldn't work on it anymore. I had to paint the BG three times because Painter 6 kept screwing up, so I decided to keep it very simple, but the empty landscape sort of works for this particular piece (and I'm not saying that to make excuses for myself).

I love that you've chosen to portray Tonks as a Black (amen to the dominant genes!), because that fits so well with how I see her - littlegirl!Tonks doesn't fly with me. :) Additionally, the figure and coloring are absolutely, envy-inspiringly lovely.

I definitely wanted to imagine Tonks as a Black after reading Book 6 (even upon reading Book 5, I was wondering why she was such a klutz when she was also an Auror; her personality and her line of work just didn't compute). Besides, I do think that Andromeda must have shown her strength, also, and I think that there's a lot more to Tonks than what she actually shows... I simply can't fathom why she would pine after Lupin in *that way*, but I guess it's just a pet peeve :p This was just to rectify that, for personal reasons.

Hi again. I just went to your gallery and it's amazing. You're really talented, and I wanted to come and tell you that ^_^
Also, is it alright to make icons from your work? Or, say, just one from the Sirius (not in his school days) art? I'll credit you fully, with pimpage and all.

If you go to our LJ Profile/Info page, we've explained in our Terms of Use that we don't allow other people to make icons out of our artworks :) Sorry but, as of now, we haven't made any exceptions.

I did make some icons from my last Sirius painting here, if you're interested.

Oops, I should have checked it there was a written ToS. Thanks for the link to the icons though. I'll check from time to time, see if you changed the ToS. Anyway, thanks!
