On my way back from dropping M off at school and taking J for a walk at Lake Elizabeth, I heard on the radio that John Mayer was going to be in town in October. I was interested, Thought I would look up and see how much tickets were and maybe be a late gift to myself

where is this?? I know at shoreline lawn seats are about 50 (they were 75 for depechemode I think) and parking is always included in their price.

Depends on the location. This is why I have a habit of taking a taxi to concerts. I can park somewhere cheap (or free) & far away, then spend $5-10 to be dropped off right at the door. :)

'Course, it's another $5-10 back, but that's still less than the $25 I'd pay for parking, and I don't have to stress over finding a parking space. :)

Of course, I haven't actually been to a concert in a couple years. I was supposed to go to one this month (had tickets & everything), but I ended up getting a job, and couldn't get the day off.
