Rarely am I amused by someone else's misery, so why don't I feel guilty right now?

Josh and I had a bday in Oakland to troop for today. We got a phone call at 8 this morning saying that 580 roadway was closed. Big accident go an alternate route ( that's all the detail I could muster while still being asleep, god bless friends). Happy New Year Everyone! Yes, I survived the parade, I didn't trip on the botz dots, I didn't get any blisters and I completed the whole parade all five and a half miles. Yes, I'm sore. Josh and I visited the Albany (Solano Ave) Safeway today and it is only slightly better than the Shattuck and Rose Safeway. Dear god isn't there a decent Safeway somewhere in the North East Bay??????
