What exactly is a flipside? And how can you catch someone there? The more I think about it the more that sounds...not good. Ah! Weird mental picture. Okay, I'm stopping now.

Yeah but the Chili Peppers are supposed to reference things that make no sense to the rest of us. If we actually knew what they were talking about all of the time, we'd have a problem much bigger than finding ourselves on this supposed "flipside" being "caught" by people.

Maybe that is the flipside. When you know exactly where the Blood Brothers are coming from, then you know you have crossed over.

I still don't understand the process of catching people there yet. In fact, with Blood Brothers in the picture, it's now more disturbing than ever.

so i think the flipside is something that you have. like a backside. you don't realise you have a flipside, however, until someone catches you on it.

Wrong! It makes it sound like an errogenous zone which would then remove it from the list of acceptable goodbyes to say to people.

yeah but no but yeah but no because if you knew where your flipside was, you wouldn't let anyone catch you on it. it's gotta be surprise. and, why did you attribute a sexuality to the flipside? is the flipside sexy? i never thought of the flipside as a sensual experience. is it the mystery and intrigue that lends a sexy quality to the flipside?

um freak, the fact that it's an unknown body part that you have to have someone else discover for you is what made it sound like an errogenous zone. but i personally do not feel as if the flipside is sexy. i can't speak for anyone else though.
