"It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission."- my father just said that. I don't know why, but I liked it so I thought I'd write it down. And now I have...Indeed.
That was on a beer commercial, I think. I think I saw it on "Funniest Commercials of 2005". Or was it 2004? They were having a marathon of sorts. Basically the commercial was men going to their wives/girlfriends and giving them things in order to apologize for things they essentially wouldn't have been given permission to do. So, congratulations. Your dad is quoting chauvenist beer commercials. I'd be terrified if I were you. Or indifferently amused.
it's not on the funniest commercials of 2005, cause i taped those. it's really sad but i mostly watch tv for the commercials now. but yeah it might be on the 2004 ones. I'm definitely more amused than terrified.
Yeah I'm pretty sure it was 2004. I watched only that one, pathetically enough, and found myself wondering why of all things to remember from 2004, they picked commercials.... eh...
You read The Inheritors by William Golding, yes? Against my better judgement, I feel that I will probably end up reading the damn thing. Get back to me.
