cape alava! If you go hiking/camping for a weekend, I highly suggest cape alava. Absolutely beautiful. A 3 mile hike, through all this lush ferngully-esque landscape, past prairies, back into the lush forest (you start hearing the crashing of the ocean waves), then at the end is a beach, that you can camp on, complete with a mysterious island that indians revered as the land of the gods maybe, that you can get to at low tide when the land bridge that connects it reveals itself, but you can't climb it cause It's part of the indian res or something. And there are throngs of deer, thieving crows, and a horribly stinky outhouse too. And if you hike across the beach, you'll find all sorts of ancient indian carvings. But they don't look like much really. But its still kind of amazing. And take me with you if you go! Cause I'm a flabby son of gun too.

oh man, that sounds awesome~! where is it? how far of a drive? man. that land bridge thing sold me. and i'd definitely take you with me! but i just don't possess the transportation required to take anyone anywhere right now, haha :/
i haven't gone camping in SO long. i know i used to hate it, because of the absence of indoor plumbing, but as much as i hated camping while it was happening, i get all nostalgic & happy looking back on it, haha. we ought to organize a little camping trip excursion with like, lots of people (lots to me, is like 6-10 haha), and portable, non-electric, outdoorsy breakfast-cooking things. heehee!

Let's see...I think its about a 2-3 hour drive west, and you have to hop on a ferry to get there.
Just lemme know when you'd wanna go, cause I think I can maybe scrounge up a healthy group on my end, and if you get some people to go too, then it might be an amazing thing maybe. Does Ms. Borreson and um, Mr. Henry like the outdoors?
