So joining facebook has been good as it allows me to message future goucher kids... It's strange though. I met this one guy, David Adams (you can see his comments on my wall) who's really well-read and er, intellectual. And he's not the neurotic, geeky type. hmm...more passionate about english?!?! i think not. lol, yeah I did see his comments though. and you're right, people really are more passionate about learning in college which is really nice to see for a change, instead of "will that be on the test on friday". Yeah...so what ashame he has a gf...lol.

haha... strange, i was thinking along the same thing with the girlfriend. But oh well, that's life. Hopefully, there will be a bunch of hippie-esque, literary intellectuals wandering about, and I can snag a few over the course of my undergraduate experience ::wink wink::.
And uh, I reread my post and I come off as really pretentious. Well, of course there are jillions of people more adept in any given field. But how do you measure adeptness? Like I said, I only know what's inside of me. I mean, there's a difference between comparing fervor for a subject versus veridical talent. You can have on without the other, right?
But uh, yeah... GO COLLEGE! Hooray for engaging lectures and seminars and curious, scholarly students. I'm sure you're just as excited.
