I don't know what any of you did this weekend, but I spent a ridiculous amount of time time plotting out a complex and in depth Maho Shoujo show featuring the Disney Princesses.

Three seasons worth of show.

65000 / 150000 words. 43% done!

I was talking with the Mother Unit about how I'm getting the HPV vaccine later this month. I don't have a lot of risk factors, but 26 is the cut off age for when insurance will pay for it, and I like being immune to things that cause cancer ( Read more... )

This is a beautiful speech about how we all tell 'single stories' about each other, and how rejecting this phenomenon is important. Ganked from writing_cocs, which is a great community for any white authors to read about writing non-white characters and cultures with respect. It is a place that shuns the single story.
