"Milo" Thatch was born Amelia Thatch, only grandchild of Thaddeus Thatch. Her parents were explorers, and thus often dressed her/treated her in ways that society at the time deemed 'masculine'. By the time her parents died when she was young, she was already used to being thought of as a boy/being allowed to do "men's" things, so when Thaddeus adopted her, he just decided to raise her as a boy, so that she could keep living the way she was used to

Seconding this one so much. I was just going to make a fem!Milo prompt myself, but then I found this and figured I'd just add my support for this one instead!
I wish I could write this myself, but it hits a little too close to home.

I really liked this chapter! :D Milo is super cute, and Kida's reaction was adorable!
And, it's alright friend! LJ can be weird sometimes. Do you have an account by any chance? Because, if you do, if you copy and paste your chapter into the visual editor, and fiddle with it until you like how it looks, then click on the html tab, and copy+paste that into your LJ comment on the meme. :3

Well, if you don't want to, basically every other blogging site would also work! As long as there's a "fancier" (for lack of a better term) editing area, where you can click buttons to bold/italic/etc. and then a way to grab the html, you'd be fine- tumblr, dreamwidth, even making it a fake post on ao3 would also work! As long as you can get the html. :)
Hey. It's me again, the filler. I have some bad news. Due to the shitty nature of apple in general, my ipad has decided to reset itself. In the process, I have lost everything I wrote in the past two years, including the rest of this fill. I may or may not re-write it, but I'm not really sure if my heart will be in it a second time.

*waves* Hi, anon! It wasn't written for this prompt, but for a different secretly-female-Milo/Kida prompt, but if you're still around I hope this might interest you all the same: Yugebin.

So sorry for the late reply! But that was exactly what I wanted, even if for a different prompt, thank you! I love Milo's realization that it doesn't matter, and I loved how alien Atlantean culture was to her, where that was true.
Plus the reactions of everyone else were hilarious. :D

I honestly was starting to lose hope of it ever getting filled, so whenever is okay. :D

The only thing I might suggest would be adding a space between paragraphs, but other than that I can't see anything I don't like in this! :D
