[When Mulan's visage flickers on to the comm this time around it's all business. Her mouth is set into a firm line before she bows and begins to speak.]

Hello everyone. I know I haven't been a part of the staff for long, but...

[She pauses and frowns, then continuesBut I think we should get together and discuss these kidnappings. We've sat around ( Read more... )

I will be attending.

I must disagree on the stance that we have not actively been trying to find ways to stop the mist, or alternative means to prevent kidnapping, but perhaps what you meant to say is that we have not held many group meetings on the subject.

In regards to student involvement: You have my support. I know many students who fair against the mist even better then I, Eric for example, and it would be a waste to not use such resources.

My opinion is also influenced by the fact that up until a few weeks ago I was a student, and therefore, kept largely in the dark about what the staff was doing in order to fight against the mist.

This has-- made me feel that we should begin to inform the more capable students about what we must do against the mist, more then just coming back to our dorms earlier and not attending classes at the very least.

[She bows politely.]

I look forward to seeing you there.

I agree. I do not see the logic behind it. Students are constantly exposed to the mist and it's effects, and there is no reason why they should not be suitably warned and involved beforehand.

Ah, indeed. [He bowed his head.]

I'll certainly be coming to this meeting.

I agree that keeping the students in the dark on the situation isn't the best choice, especially when it could affect the choices they make.

[ Doppler is always up for discussions on topics. Especially important topics! Concerning dire stuff that he sort of has a little experience with!

So he's at the meeting, sitting somewhere that allows more for observation than presentation, and he's taking notes. He will analyze the crap outta this if, weigh options, etc. ACTION NERD~ ]

Doctor Doppler, always a pleasure. [He briefly nodded to him. Sure, it was a meeting of peers regarding the mist, but that was no reason to forget one's manners.]

[ Certainly not! Everybody loves manners. ]

Likewise, Mr. Norrington. I wish the circumstances were a little better, but... That is what we're here for, yes?

Indeed.

I have faith that we will get through this. [Or did he? At least he appeared to. Norrington was the type of leader who built morale through shows of strength so even if he was doubtful he wouldn't show it.]

Is your family well?

[Staff meeting about kidnappings? He could care less, but he decides to go for appearance's sake.

Though that doesn't mean he won't be an ass about it.]

Could we hurry this up? I've got things to do.
