I agree with the above comment, and seriously, don't make it out to be more than it really is. Just go into it knowing, hey, this is just how it is, and don't psych yourself out over it (that will inevitably lead to awkward moments). Don't act like NOTHING happened, as that's obvious and awkward too, but just kind of detach yourself and think, "well, can't be helped".

I don't know if that makes any sense or not.

no help on the boy friend thing, but I wish our club had our shit together enough to get to the races this weekend. They look really cool. I'm so pumped for this season! Oh well, I'll see you at the beanpot weekend anyway.

Well, for a small fee, I could arrange to have him... taken care of... except for the part where that would no end of awkward for everyone involved, since his grandparents would probably be mad about him being dead.

Also I would get fired.

Um, yeah, I would suggest that you follow all the good advice from everyone else here. They know what they're talking about.
