Mortising machine chisels are sharp!

 I don't actually have a problem when I'm using the machine. I'm too careful and paranoid of the cutting edges for that, but for some reason I keep brushing up against the chisels when I'm NOT using them. So far it's only been scratches, but each one has bled a bit. Almost had to put a bandaid on the last one;)

Ya know, I've never had much luck with even using those. Usually end up just drilling and cleaning up the hole with hand chisels

I was actually kind of surprised myself. It's not actually one of the machines. It's just one of those mortising kits that came with a drill press I got off of craigslist, so I wasn't expecting much of it, but once I got it all set up, it started cutting really nice. I expected it to be all wobbly and such, but I've done about 20 now and have about 30 to go, and so far it's been cutting clean and straight.
