On the way home from work at 3pm the temp on the sign at the bank said 100 degrees! The hunidity is awful...with the heatindex I am sure it is around 110-115 degrees ( Read more... )

Onto my next semester of nursing school. We statred with a class of 25 (in the night program) we are down to 19. I am taking adult health 1 and mental health. I got a B+ (not bad since I work so much) Every semester it gets harder. This past weekend we were in the skills lab learning skills. Hurricane Ike was making it's way through the gulf.
Our waves are never this big and powerful except with a storm a brewing..
Funny thing Ike was 300 miles from here. What a monster. That is what makes it all more amazing!

You see all the devesation from hurricane Ike. I really feel for all those people. Having been through this just makes my heart ache for them. Then there is a train wreck in California something like 25 people dead so far. It is all so awful! It doesn't matter where you are. I have been glued to the TV all evening.
