I leave Monday! WHAT?

I may or may not have gone to Tiffany yesterday and pretended my boyfriend told me to find out my ring size and tried on engagement rings.

This was after watching the episode of 30 Rock where Liz goes crazy and buys a wedding dress even though she doesn't have a boyfriend.

What is wrong with me?! I'm only 23!

Apparently grad school isn't going to happen for me this year. I applied to five schools and got knocked out from two in the recorded audition process (you have to send in a CD to be invited to audition). I think I found the cure to my anxiety. Take half a xanax and youtube videos of baby animals.

I keep writing and then deleting the first paragraph of my "statement of objectives" for grad school because it either comes out sounding too cliche or too much like a high school graduation speech.

AUGH

You know what Facebook has made me painfully aware of? Spelling errors. Serious spelling errors. People misspell the easiest words! It drives me totally nuts. I'm not saying I'm the worlds most perfect speller, but usually at least notice when I spell something wrong. Big News! I got the lead in the opera at school! For those in the know, I'll be playing Despina in Cosi fan tutte. And for those of you awesome people who want to come it will be the first 2 weekends in February.

Also, senior recital is likely March 20th!

I got into all my classes! This is somewhat of a miracle because of the budget cuts. If I can manage to pass Piano V without actually taking the class (it's not offered until next semester) I get to graduate ( Read more... )

I just realized that I have NOT READ the last THREE Georgia Nicholson Books... Dear Lord. I need to buy them straight away.

I'm in Ojai for the weekend and just saw the NHS musical. It was really good, and made me miss those days so much. It was really fun to see Marty and Mr. Wagner and Jaye.
