That so sucks about your DVD. I had the same problem with my DVD with Nerve and A Hidden Memory. It pissed me off so much. But my DVD player was what ruined it.

My DVD player is what ruined the DVD. It refused to play other DVDs as well, but your DVD player still plays other DVDs. Right?

Yeah, the dvd player is still playing the other dvds but pellmelody down below was telling me about a friend of hers where the same thing happened to them but then it eventually started doing it to their other dvds and they found out it was actually the player that was screwing everything up:O

Are you SURE it's not your player? Cause this happened to a friend of mine. He had a pretty cheap player and it refused to play parts of "Mallrats" for some reason. It would play every other DVD BUT that one. He even took the dvd back and got a new one but it still was a problem. Eventually, he had to get a new player cause it started to do the same thing to other dvds. So it could be your player. :(

Eeek, well this certainly isn't making me feel any better:( I HOPE it's not my player because I'd rather just have to replace a dvd than the whole player. I'll be on the lookout for it doing it to my other ones.

Sorry. :( I'd just keep an eye on it, if I were you. Maybe if you know other people with players you can take that particular DVD to to test out on their players, that might make you feel better.

Huh, I never even knew you were supposed to clean DVD players. How do you clean DVD players? I'll have to find out, I've been using mine a lot lately.

Well sweetie I hope you're able to fix your DVD problems and enjoy the rest of Farscape, I am bitter at the company that produced those on DVD for NOT giving us a subtitle or captioning option. Fuck them! I would like to shoot flames out of my ass at them and scream sonic screams till they go deaf (temporarily) and see how they like not being able to enjoy a show because they're deaf and there are no captions or subtitles. AAARRRRRGGGGHHH!!!

I'm not sure how you clean dvd players either:O I remember I bought this thing once to clean out the vcr and it was an actual video you were supposed to play and that magically did it or something. I don't know because I never actually used it and just let it sit on my dresser collecting dust until I just threw it away one day. So maybe to clean the player you have to put in a magically cleaning dvd as well?

Honey, you can be my partner in crime for all things involving shooting flames and sonic screams out of our respective asses and mouths cause I so agree with you that it's fucked up that there's no subtitle option on those dvds! Grrrr...
