So I'm watching bad Syfy tv on a Friday night. Beer, pizza and Amanda Tapping with a terrible British accent in Sanctuary, couldn't ask for anything more. Just realized that the guy playing Nikola Tesla is the same actor that did Dr Parrish on SGA. I love how incestuous the SciFi community is.

I'm so so tired. Just got back from my bachelorette weekend in Las Vegas. We had a wonderful time. I've got the requisite unexplained bruises and sleep deprivation to prove I had a good time. I think I gambled 3 dollars total the whole weekend. I did manage to spend way to much in the Forum Shops and at the Fashion Show Mall but that is to be ( Read more... ) -

This morning I almost ran over a crawfish that was crossing the road. I had to stop and figure out what the hell is was but indeed it was a crawfish/crawdad/crayfish... whatever you call it. Apparently with all the rain we have been getting they have been washed out of the creeks in the area and are wondering the streets. Weird...

So the new Imogen Heap album Ellipse is just phenomenal. Really.
I have a post in my head about my absolutely crazy wedding shower that happened on Saturday. I'll get it typed up with pictures soon. Ohmigoodness, thank god it is finally Friday. I find it somewhat bewildering that there is more controversy on my Facebook friendslist than there is in Livejournal land. - am completely and totally in love with the new Muse song Uprising. It is on repeat in my iPod right now.
- purchased wireless headphones for said iPod that will also work as hands free phone thingamajig. Very useful but not very comfortable
- work has been fast paced and a little overwhelming the last 2 weeks. I'm ready for the holiday weekend to get ( Read more... )

So I'm going to try this app out and see what happens.
We are planning for a wilder weekend than we anticipated. It's the boys birthday and we have more houseguests than can be comfortably accomodated. On the positve side we get free electrician work and meals paid for.
Is anyone watching Warehouse 13? I'm really enjoying it.

So it's been a Monday but this weekend was fun. We spent Sunday at a place called Turpentine Creek which is a large cat preserve. They rescue tigers, lions, leopards and various other large cats. They also have a bear, wolf, monkey and a few other animals that needed homes.

So yesterday was an anniversary of sorts. You see it was Bastille Day and 20 years ago this summer was the first time I learned about Bastille Day at summer camp. ( Cut for me being rambly about good friends and nerd camp. )
