I had a pretty uneventful weekend. I slept and lazed around for most of it, waking up/getting off the couch only to get our satellite fixed on Saturday afternoon and to go out for Julie's birthday Saturday night. I actually took a sick day today instead of working from home when I woke up with a migraine around 7. I took my meds, fired off a quick email to the bosses, and went back to sleep. I had another migraine today. It hit at work, and I had to take my medicine for the first time without going to sleep immediately afterwards. It worked, and my head did feel a lot better by the time I left work at 4 (I took the dose at 2). I probably should have taken another dose after 30 minutes, but I was concerned about side effects ( Read more... )

This weekend has been absolutely non-eventful. I have been having headaches still but now that I can manage them they are just freaking annoying, especially because they make me so tired. I have been diagnosed with migraines. Now that I think about it, it makes a LOT of sense. The symptoms I've been having--including the weird episode in my car--can all be explained. It has taken me 2 hours, however, to track down the migraine medicine he prescribed for me, and it's all the way back at Medical City. I should have just taken it ( Read more... )

I felt like CRAP yesterday, so I when I got home I went straight to sleep and didn't wake up until 10:30. That was kind of awesome. So...my echocardiogram results came in yesterday and they were fine. Nothing showing the arrhythmia. Woohoo! I also just got the stupid heart monitor off me (so annoying).
