So, today was the first day of the rest of my life my new job. And it was... quite quiet. Almost everyone was out of the office, there wasn't a lot in to sub and the editor needed to make decisions about most of what there was. That does sound cool, in both senses. I get where you're coming from on the cool foods thing, but I'm trying to extend my repertoire of salads - at the moment I'm living on Chopped Salad Extraordinaire and Vietnamese Chicken and Mint Salad. I think it's time to branch out :)

OMG I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS A BEAUTY MAG! That is awesome! Omg I want free stuff at work! But the only free stuff they have is weird math information, bleah. I want makeup! :D

It's a monthly consumer mag for Superdrug, a big chain that sells make-up, shampoo, and other assorted beauty and health products. Yesterday there was a big editorial meeting to discuss ideas for the next few issues. It was very cool!

And I bet if you asked enough people, you could find someone who would be willing to provide free goods and/or services in exchange for free weird maths info! I just don't think you're trying hard enough ;)
