OMG, Qui, Sonia and I just booked "The Horror Room", on the 10th floor in the Omni Parker Hotel in Boston, for May the 1st! We plan on stalking the halls all night long with our flash lights, looking for the Bloody Baron, who hopefully will be on holiday and in Boston at that time :)

We only have half a day Sunday and Monday. Qui has to go back to work and my kids are in school, so we can't stay longer :(

I'd love to see it in Oct, but with kids, we're always stuck doing the Orlando thing *rolls eyes* I'm so sick of seeing Mickey Mouse, I could just die. Although we do get to back to Hogwarts in Oct :)

That old asylum's pretty creepy, but it's condos and apartments now. We actually went to look at them, but they are really poorly made and the main place just disturbing.
I'd say bits of Salem, at the Wharf can get creepy, the old Newburyport cemeteries can get really creepy and I've seen ghosties in there. There's a haunted pub there too, with an entrance to old rum running/slave transport tunnels that can get really scary.
