Sonia and I were sitting around talking about future cons, and "Con Cruise" just popped into my head. Think about how awesome that would be.  Everything we would need would be right there on the boat. Rooms, plenty of space, ballrooms, buffets, alcohol, different ports of call, and if you got sick of the Gryfindors, you could just pitch them over

Haven't a clue. We need to track down who usually organizes the conventions and start harassing them. I wouldn't know the first thing about planning something like this.

We have magic conventions on cruise ships and once I got to go. It was awesome, and surprisingly inexpensive. Here's wee snapey there. *points to icon*

Well, here's the thing. I really think if you're interested in attending a cruise con, you should join up with similarly minded people to organize the con yourself. It's not something that we can just "push" onto con organizers, unless other people take up this idea and get motivated with it.

I wouldn't know where to start and with kids at home, my time is limited. I'm just suggesting the idea, if they wanted to run with it, it would be awesome. I bet there would be plenty of interest.

I don't know how to organize a con, but I'm going to track down who does and bug the hell out of them. 2012 would be perfect! You have to go to con next year *glares*, just have too :)
