New beginnings.
Obviously it's been a long time since I posted, and therefore quite a lot of things have changed. The most notable being that Rob and I are no longer together. I was the one who ended things, almost two months ago now I guess, although I'm not entirely certain on the timeline. That's probably something I should remember, isn't it ( Read more... ) -
This and That.
Been up to a few things since I posted last. This past weekend I went to Rob's mom's wedding in Powell River, it was pretty good, I'm super happy for her and the ceremony was nice. Sunshine, laziness, and plumbers.
Day off! Always a pleasant thing, I was fully committed to being supremely lazy today, which so far I've accomplished. I did however spend most of my morning with Ken the plumber, a bit of a character, after several visits to our home he has now decided the leak we have in the bathroom isn't even a leak it's just water from the shower. Just finished a 12 hour unplanned day at work, well 11 and a bit really, but 12 sounds more dramatic. My job seriously shouldn't be as stressful as it is, problem being we hire nothing but unreliable people. Killed for fun. It's fucking funny, don't you think?
So honestly my day was going wonderfully, everything was sunny and right in the world. I went walking and played at the park with some good people, had a fire on the beach. I've been crazy moody lately, one minute I'm a happy camper the next I feel like wailing hopelessly. I don't know if I should blame it on hormones or the fact that I'm a bit of a lunatic in training. My apartment is ridiculously cold, also I have candy, good stuff. So, time to lay down what's been going on lately.
