I
posted earlier in the week about the fabulous Next Generation Conference we attended at the end of January. Some people have requested photos. So here is the super (limited time only!) bumper post, right at the click of a mouse!
If you like cafes, you like Katoomba - they're everywhere! Here are Rachelle, Fiona, Pete and Alice enjoying free time.
Know what I mean when I say Katoomba is beautiful?

Dave and Rachelle. It was awesome hanging out with some of the guys I didn't know so well, like Alice, and David.
Here are Enoch and Jallon being interviewed on the last morning. They are two youth ministers from our sister diocese in Uganda and they are spending a month with us over here to learn how they can be more effective youth workers in Africa. They're enthusiasm for sharing of the gospel is contagious!
Enoch, Jallon and Fiona with two other guys from Armidale, Ryan and Emma. It was really nice hanging out with other Armidale people who we don't always see (because we go to different churches).
Oooh, and here is when the adventure home begins! We four girls - Alice, Caroline, Fiona and I - decided to be spontanious and stay in the mountains another day after the conference finished. We camped at Alice and Caroline's grandparents' place, and did random things... like go out to a little restaurant for dinner...
We drove a random way home, through lots of out of the way towns, and visited a few wineries...
But the most random part of the trip was when Alice remembered she had a uni friend who lived at Dunedoo... so we visited Alice's friend Phil (and his family) in the 40 degree heat... and made the trip to the edge of town so we could record the moment for posterity.
There's just a taste anyway!
