...i overheard one side of a telephone conversation. it went like this:

"...oh, ok let me check"
(footsteps into the other room and back)
"we have a lot."
"yes, we have lots of bodies."

it made me feel slightly ill.

the place i work is a lab where, unfortunately, they test on rats. but i'm the one who makes sure the rats are happy until their surgery, and some of those who are operated on still survive! and clinical trials (on people) start soon-ish. maybe within two years?
