HOLY COW!
I worked in the ER today, just helping out with this and that, and a man who had just returned from a trip to Africa came in with a high fever. There was talk of malaria and other foreign infectious diseases, and I really felt bad for the guy, but he seemed to take it all in stride, which was cool. Oh. My. God.
Ok, word of advice? NEVER come down with the flu. Holy cow. I was diagnosed with Influenza A late Friday, after suffering from fever, chills, cough, aches, you name it, since Thursday. I saw something today that really made me smile. It could have been because of the heavy symbolism it involved, I mean honestly the only thing missing was the dove with an olive branch, but it really brightened my outlook for at least the day, if not longer.
