Last Monday, I went across to Manchester to be with my Dad and brother and sister while we buried Mum's ashes. She had a inherited a bit of her Great Grandad's plot in Eccles Cemetery, and they had dug a nice, neat hole about eighteen inches square to put the casket in. Last Christmas, I was given a ticket by my mother in law to see a comedienne called Sarah Millican. Here's a little taster of her humour It was a fab night; she was really good and I saw a couple of my work colleagues there too. So, we've been in our present house just over 5 years and in that time Christopher has changed the bathroom three times. It's a big bathroom, plenty of room for everything, but I am thinking it is still not quite right. We've changed the bath - it was cream with gold taps before - very dated. This is Day 5 back at work and already I am longing for half term. Roll on October 25th.

After six lovely weeks off, I went back to work yesterday. It was a lovely day, weatherwise, and I had missed my colleagues so it was good to see them again.
