On the laptop...
My all-in-one desktop has gone to be health-checked, so I am using my laptop to do this entry. It doesn't take up quite as much room on my desk, but I always find using a laptop keyboard hard. I hate the mouse, so always use a USB mouse, which helps ( Read more... ) -

We buried Mum on Friday. It was a lovely service and afterwards we had a get together with the rest of the family. I haven't seen my Uncle Alan since my Dad's 70th birthday party, so it was nice to catch up with him. It was also good to see my brother and his wife again, and, of course, my sister and her family. My mother died early this morning. I got a call from my sister last night at about 8pm to say Mum's condition had deteriorated. She was meant to be having an operation to have a stent fitted on Friday, but it was cancelled. I guess the doctors couldn't guarantee she would survive the surgery. - My mum is back in hospital. She is down to 6 stones (84 pounds) and seems to have given up. She said, when I called her last night "I'm tired and I just want to go to sleep". The "...and never wake up again" was implied ( Read more... ) -
