Just as I was leaving work today, I got a call from my credit union. Some fuckers charged a couple thousand dollars on my credit card: about $2000 or so in Italy and $800 at MIT(?), among others. They went ahead and blocked my card to prevent any further charges. Of course, they called me after 5:00 on a Friday, so I can't really do anything ( Read more... )

Started work on Cafe Baltimore last night. I've been working on it on my local machine, but I haven't uploaded it to the site yet; right now it's just a placeholder. Eventually I think it will be a pretty nice motorcycle information site. I will probably move all my motorcycle pics from my site to the other one.

I just took my bike out for the first time since putting it down for the winter. It had a little trouble starting at first but once it was running I had no problems, which was a little surprising to me since I never performed any of the winter storage procedures. I figured the carburetors would have been gummed up or something.

My neighbor Brian had a blind date tonight, so Jeff, Aimee, and I went out to meet him. We planned on meeting him at JD's Smokehouse (best beef brisket in Baltimore) but he had already left by the time we got there, so we had a few beers then went to Walt's Inn, a local dive bar that is about 4 blocks from my house.
