I, too, found the list kinda hit-or-miss. Totally forgot about some of those things, and some were missing. I don't recall hyper-color shirts being mentioned. And, maybe it was just at Cedar Creek, but it seems to me they missed the whole Troll thing. That was HUGE when I was in 5th grade, which would have been, what, 1995? All those little desks dotted with little neon-colored tufts of hair atop beady little eyes--that particular recollection is rather creepy. Anyway. I really wish I was the Jess with the Weird Al story. But, no. I get Dubya. Le Sigh.

No it was Jessica Roberts, who you may remember, which makes the story that much stranger.

I had a great time with the hand-slapping chanty thing... so maybe it's not that you were too old as too much a boy.

Also, New Kids? I did not like them one bit.
