Aw...it was great to see you too!! I was really suprised to see my name in here! :D But I was really glad we got to talk for a few minutes! :D Hopefully I'll see you around URI again sometime soon!
You can always try teaching English (if I remember right, that was what your degree was in), either the catholic way, or alternate route. On a related note, a good book to read if you're interested (dont know if you've read it) is Teacher Man by Frank McCourt. And there's always writing a motivational novel for the Giants and how they should follow through on sacks.
Actually, the degree's in history, but I'm tempted. I could use medical benefits, regular hours and my summers off. On the other hand, I hate paperwork, and kids generally annoy me. Its the whole "what can YOU teach me attitude" that makes me want to scream and throw someone out a fourth floor window.
Omigod. He blew that sack, and I swear I felt reality cry.
Yeah, read Teacher Man...he discusses similar feelings about throwing kids out windows, and describes eating their sandwiches on the first day of school
Funny you mentioned poker and lied about taking my money... I was thinking of starting up games again because my great-grandmother has ceased leaving her room for anything but showering and an occasional meal, lowering the chance of my previous hypothetical problem happening. I'll let you know.
