Made it into Miami on Sunday night. Not to bad, 1,500 miles in 2 days of driving. Good to be home, will update more soon.

Well the bags are packed, car is loaded and tomorrow morning I start out on my new life. Yup, I signed the last paperwork today and I'm unofficially done with the military. Today is the last day I'll be going by work. Got to go in and have the commander present me with my AF Commendation Medal and get my going away plaques from the flight and tower. Tommorrow is my last day here as I'll be doing my final out processing appointment then. So Saturday morning I'm off to start the long drive to Miami. Should get there ( Read more... )

WOOT!!! Today is my last work days as a Air Force Air Traffic Controller. Next week I scammed to use as time for out processing even though I'm pretty much done with everything. Hey, after 9+ years I think it's ok to scam a few extra days.
