As to the playawear, most of what I wore out there this year is either far too hoochy or overinsulated for Qool. But I do like wearing fun clothes to dance in, so I'll do my best to live up to the party vibe!

Yeah, I hear you... an outfit warm enough for playa night-time is almost certainly too hot for an indoor city club. :(

BUT, that just means getting/putting together new outfits that layer well. :)

i didn't realize Qool got started so early. given that s&p is coming to an end, you might even be able to convince me to give it a whirl. i don't promise to wear BM clothes tho.

Sweet! I'm all about introducing new people to the awesome vibe at Qool!

Yeah, it's a "happy hour" and goes from 5 to 10 pm with a "Super Qool" every once in a while which runs to 11 pm. Regular dancing (10pm to 2am, typically) is a little too hard-core for me, mid-week... which is a shame since there's a great weekly drum 'n bass event on Tuesdays.

My limited experience is that I don't tend to like clubs other than goth clubs but I'll try anything once...

sunyata__ and I are going to make her a homemade buckwheat pillow... that should be easy enough. But I want to learn even more sewing skills applicable to costuming.

That'd be great! :) Like I said, I recognize the guest DJ crew coming in next week by name and know it'll be good, but Qool is consistently excellent pretty much every week.

In theory, I plan to go every week, but it often gets preempted by other plans. I'm going to be going more frequently, though, and resisting skipping Qool for other things, so hopefully the frequency with which I go will be pretty close to every week.
