Hello diehard friends. I know I almost never use this space. But I thought I should let those of you who are not aware already that I am going to have bariatric surgery tomorrow. This is is going to be a challenge, but I have come to the conclusion it will be necessary for me to lose the weight so that the transplant people will give me the new ( Read more... ) -

Today is the day 11 years ago my father dropped dead of a heart attack I do not normally note the date, mainly because I don't remember it most years. This is due to my fuzzy head for dates in general, not for any lack of concern. I can't think of anything else to say. It's...too much

As I sit here in my dialysis chair, it occurs to me that I have not posted a word here since shortly after my hospitalization in Nov of last year. So I figured I could take a moment and catch things up a bit.
Dialysis continues, 3 days a week 3 hours and 45 minutes each time. My labs continue to show good results. I have plateaued on the weight ( Read more... ) -
Update
Hello friends and neighbors. I'm home again and glad to be here. For those that somehow missed the news I was hospitalized in Rapid City, SD in early December for two weeks and a day for complications arising from low kidney function. I am now home, resting, and continuing dialysis. Thank you for your well wished and prayers, and merry xmas/happy -
