I just can't see how a passing reference on an "about me" page is a violation of the trademark. Maybe I'm wrong, but she wasn't calling her blog "Organizing Maniac" and she wasn't marketing services that way.
My take: many times these letters are sent out as a scare tactic, but if pushed the claim wouldn't actually stand up in court. The recipient, however, may not know it's bullsh*t or may not be willing to pay for a lawyer's opinion to find out. And even if it's a bullsh*t claim, they may not want to pay the time and money it would take to defend their right to continue use the phrase in a way that doesn't violate the trademark.
