Little Girl gets dressed
What I gave her- a purple shirt, pink windbreaker pants, and her hair in a bun on the top of her head.
What she added- black socks, silver tennis shoes, and a pink tutu over the pants. -
Djinny get your gun
PA's coworkers have had enough problems with crime at their houses that he is shopping around for a gun. (Woohoo!)
One of the local judges was on the news the other night encouraging everyone without a felony to go get a gun.

I'm questioning the wisdom of having a 75 lb dog become an inside dog, again. I'm also wondering why my hubby is so supportive. I'm thinking our couch is old anyway. What could it hurt? I guess we'll find out. -

When walking into a relative's house, especially in Alabama, I always do a quick scan of the room as my kids are walking in. People who haven't had small children of their own in a while tend to lose that safety paranoia. I walked into Carol's house yesterday and there was a pistol sitting on the rocking chair. I am child-free for the first time in a month. *happy dance* They were so very good when we were visiting family. Amazing. Even though they stayed up late, slept in unfamiliar beds, and their schedule was completely shot, they were good. They took naps in the living room, despite people coming in and out. I'm back from out of town. I went down to Alabama to help PA's aunt. Her husband was dying of cancer, so friends and family converged on her house. Everyone pitched in to clean house, do laundry, answer the phone, and even help with the medical side of things. We all worked really well together. And the little one said, "Roll over."
Little girl has been sneaking into our bed late at night/early in the morning. We never had a problem with it, until she had pinkeye a few months ago and cuddled up with me. Now she sneaks in two or three times a week. Any parent will tell you that little feet and elbows don't do much for a good night's sleep ( Read more... )
