-I think expecting to have 8 happy days in a row was overly optimistic.
-PA's job is having layoffs by the first of the year. I'll be glad when it's over. It's sad catching him staring off into space with his brows knit.

My brother and his girlfriend came through for me again with babysitting and we were able to finish our Christmas shopping and have a late date. It was very enjoyable. -

Day One: My hubby loaded and ran the dishwasher last night of his own volition. I came downstairs this morning to a bunch of clean dishes. It was a nice surprise on a busy morning.

Last time I went to Alabama, I went to a second-hand store with some of the aunts. I found a couple long skirts and a really nice white sweater for less than $5/ea.
