Tomorrow is my final shift as an on-air personality on WLIR. I can't help feeling as though something great is coming to an end. Certainly not my tenure there, as I'm nothing more than a parttimer, but the way I feel having been involved with one of the most influential radio stations in the US ( Read more... )

Yes, believe it, it's Mom! Anyway, I understand how you feel about leaving the radio station. I've had the same feeling with most of my teaching jobs. You're moving on now and hopefully you will have many more wonderful opportunities.

I know that you are sad but remember that you are starting a new an exciting adventure and we are all very happy for you and Adam!

I hope that you enjoy your last day at WLIR, no matter how sad it may be.

Thank you! I'm not really sad about it, I used the wrong words. Contemplative is a better word for description.

I'm listening now to hear you on the radio. It's 353pm. Hopefully you'll be on soon. I've never heard anyone I know on the radio hehe. Well, unless Rockapella counts but they aren't jocks hehe.
