The New Star Trek

I ventured out to see the new Star Trek movie tonight.  There was something wrong with the sound system in the theater, which annoyed me all through the film (missing range and volume drops), but it still wasn't enough to sway my opinion.  The new Trek was awesome!

I saw it last night at Imax and was very pleasantly surprised !
I agree about re-writing the history, but what else can you do
with a storyline 40 years old that has been on reruns that long?

I too want to see it again. I saw Batman Begins in Imax and I always get distracted by the size of the actors acne :) or Christian Bale's mole....

It doesn't beat First Contact tho, IMO...
But that doesn't mean that I hope there won't be more with this
cast in the future....I thought JJ Abrams did an excellent job ~

IMAX is great for movie quality, but the seats and concessions bug me. The seats are uncomfortable for some reason and the popcorn is always stale and overpriced.
