He passed away on the 11th and I'm sooo glad I was able to see a spoken word concert at the Ballard Firehouse a few years ago. He was totally entertaining - and that new york accent ! What an original.

Just watched some video of POTUS Obama's first day on CSpan and I was so touched by the warm and sincere welcome he gave to his staff and also the public at the open house.
He kissed each the women on his staff on the cheek, warmly shook each man's hand and touched their arm and found brief small talk to make with each of them - man or woman.

Thought I might have to move back to Tucson if I didn't get something !

I'm passing the time by purging documents and music I never listen to from my computer.
It's making me realize how much I miss going dancing.
I just feel like I'm too old to go clubbing anymore.

My Nutty Family
So, my brother, who flies for Continental, wants me to fly STAND BY to Houston for a family Christmas.
He wants me to try to get on a flight beginning on the 23rd and if I don't get on, the 24th.
