Dammit. They lack an offensive line. They are also lacking in every position except Quarterback and running back. I'm becoming less and less sure about the QB too. I know I've been spoiled by 2 years of Brady Quinn throwing the ball every which way and just embarrassing nearly everyone they play, but is it too much to ask for Clausen to throw the

I'm not sure how good a job he really did, but the problem is, most of them are underclassmen on offense. The QB, the runningbacks, most of the wide recievers, and most of the offensive line are now from Weis' classes, Willingham didn't recruit much offense after his first year, and he really dropped the ball when it came to offensive line recruits. The offensive line has 2 seniors on it. The others are either sophomores or freshman, they just don't have the experience of the older guys. Clausen might be afraid to throw the ball a bit, but the receivers are just nowhere near as good as Samardzija and McKnight were. The best of the wide receivers tend to be Weis recruits, but they are young, and just don't have the experience that the wide receivers who left had. Defense has a good mix of young and old though.
