I've seen pictures of the termite swarm on FB. Has it always happened, or is it recent? Looks gross for sure!

The formosan termites are an invasive species that came to New Orleans in the 1960's. Classic port city problem. Some years the swarm is worse than others. This year they have only swarmed on a few nights (so far), but those nights have resembled a biblical plague. Ick.
