One of my coworkers asked me to apply for a manager position yesterday. I was shocked, flattered, and shocked. I'm going to do it, obviously. (Planning to crank out a cover letter this afternoon.) Ugh Monday
This Monday has been so Monday-y. I spent all morning putting out fires at work. Even simple things like using our department listserv went completely wrong. I ended up spending nearly the whole day working on the computer which made my eyes strain and gave me a headache. At least my boss is out on vacation. I've got that going for me this week.

Inauspicious start to the week
This week can suck it. It's only Monday and I haven't even been to work yet this week, but I'm done.
I believe the shooting at the Mothers' Day second line parade made the national news. Ugh, the violence in this city is just too much to take sometimes. And of course the main suspect is a 19 year old kids who has already done jail time behind gun ( Read more... ) -

Busy!
I've been so busy lately, I hardly recognize myself. There's always a lot to do around here in the spring time. I have the best intentions of getting things done around the house on weekends, but there is always something else more fun to do!
